Terry Webster is a recently retired Master Mariner Class I, who has served in both the British and Australian Merchant Navy’s since the age of seventeen. Rising to the rank of Captain, Terry was lured away from the “Big Ships” to become a Tug Master at the age of 42, allowing him to spend more time at home, with his young family, and become more involved in his Freemasonry.
A Past Master of Lodge of Australia Felix No.1 under the United Grand Lodge of Victoria, he has also received the OMC (Order of Merit Companion) in the Craft. He is currently the Provincial Grand Secretary in the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite (Scottish Constitution), holding the rank of Sublime & Valiant Prince 32° and is also a keen member of the Great Priory of Victoria Knights Templar, holding the rank of Past Grand Masters Banner Bearer.
A founding member of the Melbourne Shrine Club, Terry has now been elected the Provisional Potentate for Acrux Shriners (UD) and will work diligently with his team to ensure we are granted a full Charter at Imperial Session.
