We are the official temple for the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (AAONMS) in Australia, No Longer Under Dispensation but now a Temple by Charter from Shriners International.
We Are No Longer Under Dispensation
At the 2025 Imperial Session in Atlanta, Georgia, Imperial Sir Richard was proud to present the Charter for the first Temple in Australia and, after years of toil, Acrux Temple has now formally been established.
Our no-longer-Provisional Potentate, Illustrious Sir Terry Webster and his Team celebrated the cumulation of 15 years of work after the formation of the Melbourne Shrine Club under the AAHMES Temple in California, to whom we shall be eternally grateful.
With 7 Shrine clubs, 2 Taprooms and several more opportunities in the works, Acrux is proud to celebrate our new status as a full member of world Shrinedom.

Affiliations
The Acrux Temple received its dispensation on 1 July, 2024 to develop Shrinedom in Australia. We have affiliations with almost all Masonic Grand Lodges on the Continent and are proud to be attached to both Freemasonry and Shriners International.
