On Saturday 14th June, Nobles Terry Webster (Provincial Potentate), Les Dikes (Provincial Chief Rabban) and Nick (Provincial Oriental Guide) flew to Adelaide to meet with and share fellowship with our South Australian Nobles.
Noble Cyriel Pernito was very obliging and provided transport to and from the airport, which was greatly appreciated. We dined at the Watermark Glenelg, in the company of eight of our Nobles, with wives and family members also attending. Bro. Anthony Martin was also present and has applied to join our wonderful philanthropy as well.
Shrine Certificates and dues cards were distributed to all the Nobles and Nobles Terry and Nick updated them all on our activities, including the upcoming trip to the Shrine Imperial Session to be held in Atlanta, Georgia from 27 June – 03 July, where we hope to receive our full Charter as a Shrine Temple.
The weather in Adelaide was dismal, with overcast skies and constant rain throughout the day, but the company we were with brightened our day. A very enjoyable time was spent with our hosts in Glenelg, and we look forward to catching up with them all again.
